Fabulous effect, still getting used to magnetics but I'm sure my results are only going to get better from here, base of the polish is transparent but dark so keep that in mind If you plan on using it as a topper. Video lighting is a bit mid, I layered it over a purple from another brand.
So pleased with this one!! Perfect for jelly sandwiches— using one coat of Quicksilver topped with a sheer pink, I got my dream magnetic light pink colour! Also beautiful on its own; I personally recommend using it with a glass bead technique! Alternatively, in velvet it reminds me of the moon.

I’ve been having so much fun with Quicksilver underneath other polishes like Electric Dreams, (seen on index, pinky & thumb here) Eye of the Storm or Orion. Adds magnetic velvet/cat eye depth and is insanely beautiful and mesmerising in the sunlight.
I tried the glass bead effect for the first time with this (IKEA allan key method) and while I'm not super good at it and I had a few more mishaps as my hand got tired, they still turned out so well and I'm kinda obsessed. I put a light sage green creme underneath and it's a really nice subtle look (if you can call shiny silver stunning). I'd forgotten about the scattered holo effect until I went out in the sun the next day and was very pleasantly surprised, it's hard to photograph, but definitely noticable in real life.

I painted it over one of my favourite cremes from a different brand (it’s a khaki green colour) and magnetised it in the velvet style and I have no regrets.
Quicksilver is perfect, exactly what I wanted. it magnetized dark which was perfect. dries fast and is really stunning as a topper, but by itself it really is beautiful. it also magnetizes really crisply. loved it!
This is perfect with the Satin finish. Silver flashes to blue.
The magnetic pull is UNREAL. This isn't necessarily a sheer magnetic topper, the silver colour is so dense it looks black in the bottle. Great for when you want a more obvious magnetic oomph.
I love this product! alongside the silver, the polish also has a tiny amount of rainbow/holo glitters. It really elevates the look! Easy to use and quick drying.
The magnetic pull in this polish is beyond phenomenal! It leaves such a wonderful effect no matter what look you’re going for, the cat eye is such a strong line and the contrast of the velvet shift is so beautiful. Will absolutely grab this polish again!
I've tried this over so may different finishes. Cremes. Holos. Multichromes. I've even layered a thin coat over other magnetics to add more depth. I love!
Great dimension over purple polishes, also tried it out on top of Lyra's song, very fun. You can get really creative with this polish.
Love that this topper goes over whichever regular polish base colour you choose, allows for endless options & versatility - turns 'boring' polish into something special.
Definitely remagnetise after applying topcoat, it really helps to set the effect.
