Neodymium bar magnet

I got this magnet and antimatter- checked I was using it correctly with the instructions twice but there’s barely any visible effect. Suspect the magnet isn’t strong enough?

This bar magnet is really powerful and the rubber cover also makes it easy to hold onto.

My favourite thing is that I don't have to hover the magnet above the nail (and hope I don't bump the polish) - I can rest my nail on top of the magnet instead, and still get a sharp line. Very satisfied.
